About Moovmoor

We build social sports clubs for venues that deserve more than empty courts.

Moovmoor is a platform for racquet sports venues and clubs that turns dead capacity into community. Memberships, coach-led events, and real connection. Built for the venues ready to move past the booking model.

Memberships, coaches, community. On courts you already own.
The problem

Courts sit empty. People want community. Nobody connects the two.

The Nordic padel boom built hundreds of venues between 2020 and 2024. Then reality hit. Nearly 90 padel companies filed for bankruptcy in Sweden in 2023. Finland’s largest chains collapsed. The reason was always the same: a pure court-rental model with no recurring revenue, no community, and no reason for players to stay.

At the same time, premium social sports clubs started booming globally. Membership-driven and coach-led, built around community. These clubs succeed because they sell belonging. The demand is there. What’s missing are the tools for existing venues to build this kind of experience.

What we do

One platform. Two models. Built around the club.

Moovmoor gives venues and sports associations a single platform to run social sports clubs. Everything lives under one core object: the Club. Memberships, benefits, events, messaging, and payments come together in one place.

Coaches do the work. They lead the events, fill the off-peak hours, and build the community that makes a membership worth renewing. Software on its own is just a booking tool. Coaches are what make it a club people belong to.

Venue clubs

Hall operators create their own club to fill empty capacity. Membership fees go to the venue. Coach-led programming turns quiet Tuesday afternoons into packed sessions. The courts you already own start earning more.

Association clubs

Sports associations and independent clubs run communities across multiple venues. Members join for the people, not the place. Court access comes through partnership agreements. No single-venue lock-in.

Our story

We didn’t start here. That’s why it works.

Moovmoor began as a workplace exercise service, helping companies get their employees moving through coached programs and community challenges. The product worked, but the market didn’t. HR sales cycles were long. Adoption was slow. And we were one of dozens competing for the same shrinking slice of corporate wellness budgets.

What we noticed, though, was something else entirely. The capabilities we’d built (community engagement, coach-led programming, membership design) were exactly what racquet sports venues needed but couldn’t find anywhere. Operators had courts, coaches, and willing players, but no way to turn occasional visitors into loyal members.

So we went where the demand was. We spent 2025 interviewing operators across the Nordics, studying the padel bankruptcy wave, and mapping the global rise of social sports clubs. The research, supported by Business Finland’s Tempo programme, confirmed what we’d suspected: the market needs a platform that builds community around courts.

Every feature in Moovmoor exists because the data showed a gap nobody was filling. It was a pivot grounded in real conversations and hard evidence.

Activity, wellness, community, and connection. That’s what people are looking for. We give venues the platform to deliver it.
Where we’re going

Built in Finland. Expanding to Sweden. Then the Nordics.

Moovmoor is a Finnish company with a platform already live and a mobile app in the hands of users. We’ve spent years in the Nordic racquet sports market, watching the boom-bust cycle up close and talking to the operators who survived it.

Sweden is our next market. It’s padel’s Nordic heartland and the country hardest hit by the bankruptcy wave. We’re targeting operators who understand that court rental alone doesn’t build a business. Our first international clubs will be padel, pickleball, and tennis venues ready for a different model.

From there, we’ll expand across the Nordics and into markets where racquet sports are growing and venues face the same problem: full courts at prime time, empty ones the rest of the week.

Let’s fill your courts with people who keep coming back.

If you’re a venue operator or club leader in racquet sports, we’d love to talk.
